All eyes are now on Rajinikanth's Kochadaiyaan! The film was expected to hit screens on Rajni's birthday i.e. 12.12.12. But now it looks like the film may see the light only for this Pongal in Jan 2013. The film will be released in Tamil, Telugu, Hindi, Malayalam, Japanese, Italian and Spanish versions.
"Co-producers Mediaone Global Entertainment have secured a Rs 20 crore loan from Exim Bank towards post-production and is in negotiations with other banks to secure another Rs 30 crore. This will push the budget north of Rs 125 crore," a Bollywood site quoted.Ace director K.S. Ravikumar has penned the story, screenplay and dialogues for this movie.
The star cast includes Superstar Rajinikanth, Sarathkumar, Aadhi, Deepika Padukone, Shobana, Rukmini Vijayakumar, Jackie Shroff and Nassar. Kochadaiyaan is produced jointly by Eros International and Soundarya. A.R. Rahman is the music director and Rajiv Menon is the cinematographer.
